Reservation
The easiest way to reserve a room at the best price is online. You can reach our staff by phone Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the number +49 8667 790.

Arrival
Your room will be available on the day of arrival from 3:00 PM.

Departure Day
Your room will be available until 12:00 PM. If you wish to have a late check-out, please contact our reception team at +49 8667 790.

Late Check-Out
We are happy to accommodate your late check-out request. Please note the following fees:

• Check-out until 12:00 PM is free of charge.
• Late Check-Out until 4:00 PM costs €45 per room.
• Late Check-Out after 4:00 PM will incur 80% of the valid overnight rate, excluding breakfast.

Discounts
The following discount structure applies to our overnight stay/breakfast prices and cannot be transferred to any packages:

• 10% discount for stays of 7 to 9 nights.
• 15% discount for stays of 10 to 13 nights.
• 20% discount for stays of 14 nights or more.
  The discount applies per stay and not to special rates.

Minimum Stay
In August and during New Year’s, we have a minimum stay requirement of 5 nights. Please note that a room reservation during New Year’s is only valid with participation in our New Year’s Eve Ball.

Travel Cancellation and Interruption Insurance
We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance for all bookings to avoid bearing any potential cancellation fees.

Important Notice
To avoid generating tonnes of waste, we have made a conscious decision to use reusable pool slippers and no longer offer disposable ones. You are welcome to purchase our eco-friendly reusable pool slippers at reception. This way, you’ll have a lovely memento of your relaxing stay with us even after you’ve left. What we do today determines what the world will look like tomorrow!

Parking / Underground Garage
In Haus Florian, 15 garage parking spaces are available for a fee. Additionally, 300 free parking spaces are available on the estate.

Electric Vehicles
Gut Ising offers 6 charging stations from our partner Chargepoint for electric vehicles of all brands. The stations are located in the parking area near our DERBY bar | grill.
To ensure optimal use for all guests, please remove your vehicle after a maximum charging time of 10 hours. A blocking fee applies after 10 hours, which will also be displayed on the station screen.

Public Transportation
The nearest bus stop is located close to the hotel, right by the chapel at the intersection. Timetables and further information are available at the reception.

Shuttle Service
For a fee, we provide transfers to bus stations, train stations, or airports. We are also happy to organize a taxi transfer to your desired destination. Please contact our reception at extension 400.

Limousine Service
Upon request and for a fee, we can arrange a limousine transfer through our partners. Please place your request in advance at our reception at extension 400.

Car Rental
If you need a rental car for a day trip, we can book one for you through our partners. Please inform us in advance by contacting our reception at extension 400.

Gut Ising Spa & Wellness

Our hotel features an indoor pool (28°C) with a counter-current system, waterfall, and flow channel. Additionally, you can enjoy a small indoor whirlpool and a pleasantly warm outdoor pool (32°C) with a sun deck. Our sauna area includes a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, a steam bath, and a small Kneipp pool.
The Ising Spa & Wellness is open for hotel guests from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Saunas are available daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the pool bar operates seasonally from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Treatments and massages are bookable from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
There is no lifeguard on duty. Parents are responsible for their children.
You can access the swimming area with your room key.

Massage Appointments

Appointments for massages, facials and other treatments at the Ising Spa & Wellness can be made between 9.00 am and 7.00 pm. You can contact the spa on extension 252 or book your appointment via our online-shop.

Bathhouse

Our property extends to the shores of Lake Chiemsee. Guests have access to the private lakeside area with a dedicated bathhouse, parking, and restrooms. During the summer months, you can unlock the gates and restrooms with your room key.

Sunbathing Lawn

A sunbathing lawn with loungers is available free of charge in front of the adventure indoor pool. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this area.
Additional sunbathing lawns are located near our biotope and across from the beer garden of St. Georgsklause, where pets are welcome. Our team at St. Georgsklause will take care of your refreshments.
At our lakeside bathhouse, there is a public pebble beach that you are welcome to use as a sunbathing area.

• Spa Appointments
  We would advise you to book your individual treatments well in advance. To arrange an appointment, please book your chosen treatment via our online shop or contact the spa by telephone on extension -252.
• Cancellation Policy
  If you cancel less than 12 hours before your scheduled appointment or fail to attend, we regret to inform you that 100% of the booked service fee will be charged.
• Male or Female Therapists
  We are happy to note your preference for a male or female therapist at the time of booking. However, we can only guarantee this if requested in advance, subject to availability and staff schedules. All staff members will ensure your privacy and comfort at all times.
• Arrival at Ising Spa & Wellness
  Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Kindly note that treatment durations include rest periods. To respect other guests, we must adhere strictly to start and end times.
• Shaving & Facial Treatments for Men
  For the best results, men should shave a few hours before their facial treatment.
• Dress Code
  

  We recommend that guests wear the bathrobe provided in their hotel room, as well as bathing shoes, which can be purchased from reception if required. Our therapists are instructed to cover you appropriately during treatments.

Safe & Valuables

A complimentary safe is available at the front desk. Additionally, every room is equipped with a personal safe, which you can program and secure independently.
We assume liability for guests’ belongings within the scope of legal provisions. Valuables, cash, or securities (checks, credit cards, etc.) stored in your in-room safe are insured up to €10,000—provided any loss is due to our fault. For higher-value items, please use the safe at our reception.

Our in-house laundry service (washing & ironing, no dry cleaning) is available daily. Dry cleaning is available Monday to Friday. Please drop off your items by 7:15 AM at the reception.

Upon request, we can provide an iron and ironing board in your room. Please contact Housekeeping at Tel. 179.

Sewing Service & Sewing Kit in the Room
For larger repairs and alterations, you can use our sewing service. Please drop off your items at the reception by 9:00 AM and inform us of the necessary changes or repairs. Items will be returned within 24 hours (on weekdays). No service is available on weekends or holidays. A sewing kit for minor repairs is provided in your wardrobe.

Turndown Service
Every evening, our housekeeping team performs a turndown service. This includes checking the wastebaskets, fluffing and folding down your duvet, and replacing towels if necessary.

Enjoy our gourmet breakfast, primarily served as a buffet, with additional dishes provided by our service team. Breakfast is available daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM in our Salzburger Stube or on the Salzburger Terrace.

In-Room Breakfast Service

If you prefer to have breakfast in the privacy of your room, you can order a selection of delicacies from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A service fee of €6 per tray applies.

Bicycle Rental

Guests who wish to rent a bike can contact the reception, which will provide the details of our partner bike rental service or arrange a bike for you.

Jogging

Gut Ising offers a well-marked 4.5 km jogging trail, which begins at the biotope. We can assist you with distance recommendations.

We are happy to organize sailing courses and sailing trips with our partner, the Segelschule Huber in Seebruck. Please contact the reception team at Tel. 400 for more information.

Tennis

There are two indoor courts with carpet-granulate and three outdoor clay courts available for booking (for a fee) at the reception (Tel. 400).
The TACO Tennis Academy offers individual lessons. For more details, please contact St. Georgs-Klause at Tel. 436 or ask at the reception (Tel. 400).
Tennis rackets are available for rent (for a fee) and tennis balls are available for purchase at the reception.

Country-Cross Track

We have a 7 km Country-Cross track on our grounds, which is available for our hotel guests to use free of charge.

From March to October (weather permitting), you can book tee times for our 9-hole golf course through our Golf Secretariat at Tel. 358.

The golf proficiency certificate (Platzreife) is your personal entry ticket to various golf courses. It is recognized by the German Golf Association (DGV). The golf academy’s course concept has been successful for many years and offers beginners a comprehensive introduction to golf.

Our equestrian center is open year-round, with the exception of Sunday afternoons and Mondays all day. We also offer pony rides and small pony rides.

Horse Boarding Conditions

The horse owner guarantees that the horses to be boarded are healthy, disease-free, and have liability insurance. Horses are valuable animals that can be endangered by illness or accidents, and in such cases, determining the cause is often difficult. Therefore, we are only liable for intentional actions and gross negligence. We do not assume any liability beyond that for your horse. Just as the horse owner cannot cover the damage to their horse through personal liability insurance, we, as caretakers, are not able to do so either. The customer is responsible for all damages caused in the facility, as well as to third-party property, by themselves, their horse, or third parties who enter the facility on their behalf. Thank you for your understanding.

Horse Stalls

A variety of guest horse stalls are available at Gut Ising for a fee. The stalls are located in the Rosenhalle (April - October) and under the large riding hall (year-round). The stalls are bedded with sawdust and the horses are fed oats and pellets. If you have special requests for the stalls, please make them known when reserving.

Polo

At one of the largest polo centers in Germany, Gut Ising also offers exotic equestrian sports. Under the professional guidance of the El Condor Polo School, you can experience, try, and learn the fastest ball game in the world.

Rooms

All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, minibar, telephone, W-LAN, satellite and Sky TV, safe, hairdryer, make-up mirror and most have a balcony or terrace. Rooms are available for check-in from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out must be done by 12:00 PM. The rooms are cleaned daily. The reception is open 24 hours a day, so a late arrival is not a problem; however, we would appreciate it if you inform us in advance.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available in all hotel rooms and conference rooms. You can obtain access details and further information at the reception, Tel. No. 400.

Television and Entertainment

All rooms at Gut Ising are equipped with free Sky TV and an appropriate movie package. The TVs have a child lock function. For our Derby, a Sky Bundesliga and Champions League package has been subscribed. In the Chiemgaustüberl in the Gutshaus, there is a PlayStation and a selection of video games for our guests. Minibar

All rooms feature a minibar with non-alcoholic beverages. These drinks are included in the room price and are refilled once daily.

Extra Bed

We are happy to prepare our sofa beds for an extra bed in the room. An additional charge will apply.

Dog Shower

A dog shower is available for our four-legged guests in the underground garage at Haus Florian. Of course, it comes with warm water, dog shampoo, and towels.

In Ising, there is the small pilgrimage church of Mariä Himmelfahrt. You can visit the church at any time. A guided tour through the church and the museum with sacred objects is available upon prior telephone arrangement with Mr. Hausmann at Tel. No. 08667 809507.

Herrenchiemsee Festival

Common tradition and history are a responsibility. For over 15 years, the International Herrenchiemsee Festival has been held. The idea originated in 2000 from a seven-day “Bach Festival” marking Johann Sebastian Bach’s 250th anniversary. Enoch zu Guttenberg organized the event with his dramaturge Klaus Jörg Schönmetzler to test whether the Spiegelgalerie of the Herrenchiemsee Palace could serve as a concert hall. The Herrenchiemsee Festival has since become an institution in international music life. Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, Ludwig van Beethoven, and many other gifted artists delight festival-goers each year. The concert festival meets the highest artistic standards.

Musical Summer Days:

Since 2016, Hotel Gut Ising has supported the Herrenchiemsee Festival as a patron. For the performance season, the Four-Star-Superior hotel offers a special festival arrangement that gives guests access to concert tickets of the best categories. Hotel History

Since 1934, the estate has been owned by the Magalow family. The hotel consists of eight different buildings: the Gutshaus, Haus Salzburg, Haus Florian, Kavaliershaus, Biedermeierhaus, Alte Schmiede, Petershaus, and the new Ising Spa & Wellness with two Spa Suites. The oldest building is the Petershaus, with seven hotel rooms and the restaurant "Zum Goldenen Pflug," first mentioned in 1581.

Monument Protection

Some of the buildings are under monument protection, including the Alte Schmiede, Biedermeierhaus, Kavaliershaus, and Petershaus.

Antiques

Throughout the hotel, you will find valuable and well-maintained antiques, including furniture and paintings from various styles.

Fountain

Since April 2016, the hotel entrance is adorned by a beautiful sandstone fountain. The inscription on the fountain reads "Ubi bene, ibi patria." Translation: "Where it is beautiful, there is home." – a quote from the Greek poet Aristophanes.

Biomass Heating System

Hotel Gut Ising is heated by a biomass heating plant powered by wood chips. This system helps avoid 680,000 kg of CO2 and 7,000 kg of SO2 emissions annually.
